Invisible Braces in Redmond, Washington
Are you looking to boost your confidence in your smile with an easier alternative to braces?
Did you have braces when you were a kid but are noticing your teeth shifting as you age?
You’re not alone! Many adults who had braces in their childhood or teen years, experience shifting of teeth—particularly the bottom front teeth—as they have aged due to lack of orthodontic maintenance appliances (a well-fitting night-time retainer, or orthodontic wire adhered to the back of the front teeth).
With or without having prior orthodontic treatment, our teeth shift as we age, and we wanted to find an affordable and accessible option for those looking to straighten their teeth. Like Invisalign (another clear aligner company), we use the SureSmile technology to straighten and correct teeth.
If interested in invisible braces, all it takes is a simple, free, scan of your teeth to see if you are a candidate for this type of treatment. Once the orthodontist from SureSmile approves your treatment plan, we can have you come into the office for a consultation to show you the simulation of the alignment process from start to finish.
If you are not familiar with invisible braces, they are clear trays, fitted to your teeth that you wear all day and night, with the exception of when you’re eating. Because they are clear, they are not as obvious as braces in appearance. Throughout the treatment duration, you will wear then replace the trays with a new set that is altered even more, though still not drastically, to continue shifting your teeth into alignment. Once you are comfortable with the process, we give you multiple trays at a time so you are not having to come into the office every other week or so.
Once treatment is completed, we will rescan your teeth to make you a last set of trays that will be your retainers, which you will only wear at night to prevent shifting. We also can attach an orthodontic wire to the tongue side of your lower front teeth to act as an extra retaining force, though we highly suggest this, it is optional.
Most insurance plans do have an orthodontic treatment coverage, which does usually include invisible braces.
